This verse gets to a truth about Jesus that is extremely vital. Jesus did much more than any of us, even all of us together can imagine or comprehend. We do not have the capacity to fully understand everything that is in Christ Jesus. Even though our minds cannot fathom the depths of our Messiah, the invitation stands to "come as we are". We are able to enter into a communion with God, washed completely of our sins, through the gate of Jesus Christ. Perhaps eternal life, since we've been promised that in Christ, will be enough time to properly worship our amazing Savior!
