Hebrews 1:3-4

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.  Thus he became so far better than the angels as he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

Jesus is the name that is above every name. Our savior Christ is "the exact representation of his being" (NIV), "the express image of His person" (NKJV), and "expresses the very character of God" (NLT). Everything that matters, that gives life, holds us together and makes it possible for us to live, for creation to live is found in Christ Jesus. He is the beating heart of everything that has been created. Everything about our lives on this earth, and our promised eternal life with God the Father in heaven hinges on Jesus. Jesus, the master of our souls, takes away our sins.
